They say it’s not what we have in life that’s important but, who we have in life that makes the difference.

I’ve been blessed to have a family that has never given up on me and gained friends whom I share bonds with that transcends time, space and distance.

Maneuvering through different seasons in life is not always easy.

I’ve learned that some broken things stay broken

You’ll miss people who are never coming back

There are things that go wrong that don’t always get fixed

And you become what you surround yourself with because energies are contagious

I’ve learned about loss and gain

Winning and losing

Accomplishments and let downs

Dreams and nightmares

But, I have been rewarded to always have someone with me along the way and to me that is priceless

Whether it’s a life talk, laugh, soul cry or new perspective

I’ve always had my people around

Those who taught me how to accept the things I cannot change, how to use boundaries as an act of respect towards myself, to give me an extra push to thrive beyond my dreams and determination, to count myself back in when I counted myself out, to stay motivated even when I can’t find strength and to let go of people, places and things that no longer serve me and to never look back

For that, I am forever indebted

I’ve learned that as long as you have your tribe around…people who love you…genuinely love you… those who will allow you to reset, refocus, readjust and restart as many times as you need to. Baby you gotta keep going!!
